Water Conservation and Drought Management Workshops

A strategic planning initiative to assist municipalities, counties, and water suppliers with the development and implementation of their water conservation and drought management plans will hold its first workshop April 28, 2006 in Grants, NM.

The purpose of the planning initiative is to aid entities or persons that distribute or otherwise provide water for domestic, commerical, industrial or government customers and that are in need of planning assistance.

The planning initiative consists of a one day participative planning workshop to develop the overall vision, mission, strategic goals and barriers of water conservation and another one day domestic water supply plan development workshop.
